The team also found that NMN brought positive effects on the muscle’s ability to use oxygen for energy production – improved oxygen utilization capabilities, especially at higher doses. There were no adverse health effects during the six weeks of taking up to 1200 mg of NMN per day. These were already published in the Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition.
